Week 1

Before Attending the lab session on Friday 03/02/2023:

On Wednesday, Feb the first, 2023 we managed to have a group meeting with our supervisor. We discussed the main tasks and aims for week 1 of the lab session. 

The main tasks for week 1 were: 

1- Checking that all the components arrived sucssefuly

2- Checking Compatibility between components. 

 3- Drawing and Building the circuit. 

4- Installing Arduino Libraries to test the codes.

5- Deciding the audio input for the circuit.

Before Attending the advisor session we managed to select our roles in the following order: 

1- Project Manager: Mohammad Almatrouk 

2- Designer: Abdullateef Althweeni 

3- Implementer/Developer: Abdullah Almutairi

4- Technical Writer: Mohammed Almethen 

1- Checking that all the components arrived successfully

We had a slight delay in our components but they managed to arrive before the lab day. 

2- Checking Compatibility between components  

Since we are using low voltages around 5V maximum. All components such as resistors, capacitors, and Arduions were compatible with each other.

 3- Drawing and Building the circuit. 

 The circuit is still missing an audio input and some parts that haven't arrived yet.

Note: We managed to change our circuit to Arduino nano because we had some problems with the Arduino mega.

4- Installing Arduino Libraries to test the codes.

5- Deciding the audio input for the circuit.

We decided to use an aux cable 3.5mm jack with a component that we got from the lab the stx-3120-5b as our input audio signal.
